The Niger Delta problem in Nigeria is becoming a bigger issue than previously thought of. MEND is ordering Julius Berger Construction out of Abuja. Not complying means that Julius Berger will become the target of terrorism in Nigeria. This is serious.
What is the leadership of Nigeria doing to address this very serious problem that could eventually be the catalyst for the next civil war in Nigeria?
Recent worries and concerns are indicating that Nigeria is on the verge of a split. But into how many parts my brothers and sisters? I am worried. There are more than 300 languages in Nigeria and uncountable tribes. Who will go to where? Who will colonise who internally?
I support the removal of corrupt people or politicians. I also anticipate the end of the illegal regime forced down the people’s throat by Stupid Obasanjo. But political breakthrough in this country is a dilemma.
Is the way of MEND the way forward for Nigeria? Is this how to orchestrate the break up of a country that has never made progress politically? A country that has served as a breeding ground for the extremely poor and the greedily wealthy people.
How would MEND come to represent the aspirations of the poor, the wretched, the down-trodden? Is MEND seeking a regional ambition or a national emancipation? Stretching their targets to Abuja and Nationwide is a dream goal. How many agencies or groups are they carrying along?
It’s a serious situation. A gun powder may explode in Nigeria and I wonder what a lazy man like Yar Adua will do about this.
Who will save the masses?
