I was born in Lagos, Nigeria. Presently, I live in Europe.
I have a young family, a good home and a life that I cannot complain about.
Things will never be perfect but it should be possible to manage well in all circumstances. My philosophy of life is “Live and let’s live”.
I cannot deny my past and my origin. Raised in a good family back home in Nigeria, I was taught everything that I needed to know to help me through this life. So far, it has worked well to be brought up by respectable and fine parents.
I am irritated by the Nigerian system of barbaric governance and extremely poor standard of living. This is why I cannot see myself living in Nigeria again. I understand that there is complete absence of electricity in that country and that everyone has a generator to get by.
The schools are now almost dead with incessant strikes every now and then. Most roads are dead traps and it seems that only the rich get by quite well. Some lucky chaps are also boasting out loud about Nigeria. What about the rest who will get nothing out of life because they are Nigerians governed by lunatics.
I am very convinced that I do not belong to that system anymore and I do not owe anyone any explanation or apology for that.
People can decide how to live their lives and what to tolerate as governance.
This is my choice (to remain in Europe) and “I like the kind life wey I dey lead now“.
